### Insurance & Self-Pay

I am in-network with **Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield (BC/BS)**, which **covers teletherapy**.
I do **not** accept Medicaid, HIP, or other insurance providers at this time.

While I am not in-network with most insurance plans, you can still use your insurance benefits for our work together. I am considered an “out-of-network” provider, which means you would pay for sessions (160) directly at the time of service, and I will gladly provide you with a detailed Superbill — a document you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Many clients find that their plans offer generous out-of-network benefits, and this option allows you to choose the provider that’s the best fit for your needs, not just one who happens to be on a list. If you’re not sure what your out-of-network benefits cover, I encourage you to contact your insurance company and ask about reimbursement for outpatient mental health services with an LCSW.

### Getting Started: What to Expect

I’ve provided therapy by phone for 20 years—and most people really like it. Adding video has made the experience even better! Many of my clients I’ve never met in person, and that’s perfectly okay.

After scheduling:

* You’ll receive an email from **Therapy Portal** with over **10 forms** to complete before your appointment can be confirmed.
* Please **check your junk/spam folder** if you don’t see the email.
* **Appointments cannot be booked** unless these forms are completed.

### Using the Online Scheduler

The online scheduler is **updated in real time** and reflects my **current availability**
Please note: This system is **not for emergency use**.

**New clients**

* Submit your appointment request through the scheduler.
* I will follow up via email to confirm and provide next steps.
* If you do not receive an email, please reach out directly.
* Appointment requests will not be booked without completed paperwork (that will be emailed to you).

**Cancellation Policy**:
Please provide **at least 2 business days' notice** to avoid a **$75 late cancellation fee**.
