I appreciate you taking a moment out to read this. I wanted to thank-you for choosing Connect First to provide for your (and/or your families) counseling needs and goals. We appreciate and acknowledge the courage it takes to want to make a change, and we are delighted, honored, and privileged to be working with you throughout this journey. At Connect First, we strive to create an atmosphere and environment where acceptance is felt, and healing and change can occur more readily. We are passionate about providing a connected environment and therapeutic relationship to work collaboratively with children, teens, and their families. It is through this connection that your child will learn to express their wants, needs, thoughts, and desires more effectively, you’ll begin to witness behavioral change, and finally reduce the weight felt by your child, teen, and/or family unit. Please completely fill out the paperwork (provided within your portal access) and submit prior to your scheduled intake session. These documents, although extensive, provide your counselor with valuable information. For minor clients, the intake session is for ADULTS only, so you can freely discuss your concerns. Please call or email should you feel as though your situation dictates that the minor be seen during the intake session. **Also note, divorced parents of minor clients need to provide a photocopy of the most recent legal document stating custody arrangements, consisting of the cover page, page specifying conservator(s), and signature page. State law requires a copy of the divorce decree is received before services can be rendered.** We VERY much welcome and appreciate new clients into our practice, as we embark on achieving the goals that matter most to them. You'll utilize this portal to create a log in which will allow you to manage your appointments, join Telehealth sessions (if applicable), and complete all necessary paperwork.
