Counseling Center Temporary Closure & Relocation Notice
The Counseling Center will be closed from June 2 to July 31 due to a facility relocation and limited provider availability. During this time, all counseling services will transition from Building 4502 (2nd floor) on Andrews Avenue to our new location at Building 8939 on Red Cloud Road, next to the Novosel Child Development Center.
We will begin accepting new individual and couples clients on August 4. For support and referrals during this period, please contact our offices at (334) 255-1807.
If you are a current client, limited appointments will be available throughout the closure. Please reach out to your provider directly at (334) 255-1807 or portal secure messaging to schedule your sessions.

WHAT WE OFFER. We provide life-affirming, professional, and confidential pastoral counseling in a religiously integrated framework to help clients cope, change, and resolve current challenges. We offer support for individuals, couples, and groups struggling with depression and anxiety, grief and loss, self-esteem, trauma, spiritual issues, relationship concerns, and other life wellness issues.

SCOPE. We are pastoral counselors that provide non-medical, non-diagnostic counseling services. We integrate evidence-based counseling practices tailored to your needs.
HOLISTIC. We recognize the spiritual, emotional, and psychological dimensions of well-being. If necessary, we may refer you to other professionals, such as medical doctors, psychiatric providers, or behavioral health clinicians, to help support all dimensions of resiliency and total-health.
ELIGIBILITY. Counseling services are offered at no-cost to eligible clients, including military ID cardholders (Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve), dependents of Service Members, DoD Civilian Employees, and Retirees. Services available for Adults (18+) and Adolescents (14-17).

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY. Our approach is rooted in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) while integrating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), and trauma-informed interventions as needed. We believe that individuals possess the inherent ability to grow, adapt, and heal when given the right tools and support. Our role as therapists are to help clients identify their strengths, clarify their goals, and navigate challenges in a way that fosters resilience, autonomy, and personal fulfillment.
RELATIONSHIP THERAPY. Our approach is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) while integrating elements of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gottman’s Relationship Therapy, and systems-based interventions as needed. We believe that relationships thrive when partners feel seen, heard, and valued. Our role as therapists are to facilitate meaningful conversations, identify strengths, and help couples move from conflict and disconnection toward clarity, connection, and secure attachment.

SERVICE LIMITATIONS. We do not prescribe medication nor offer medication management. We do not provide crisis, emergency, or life-threatening counseling services. - New Clients: Check appointment availability and request an appointment.
- Current Clients: Log in to manage appointments and complete paperwork.
- ***PLEASE NOTE***: If you are scheduling a first appointment for RELATIONSHIP COUNSELING, BOTH PARTNERS MUST create a separate appointment in order to complete separate individual intake paperwork. The second partner can schedule a random appointment, whereby the Provider will update the couples’ appointment for same day/time. This ensures intake paperwork for both partners is completed in their separate accounts prior to the first appointment.
